Joe Biden: ‘I Will Beat’ Trump, ‘He’s Deathly Afraid to Face Me’

Presidential candidate and former Vice president, Joe Biden, declared he “will beat” President Donald Trump in November’s election during Monday’s edition of “CNN Tonight.

“Trump “is obsessed with me, and he should be, with good reason,” Biden stated during the interview.“

“Look, he’s deathly afraid to face me. Have you ever — you can’t answer it I know, but rhetorical question, have you ever seen a sitting president spend as much time, money, and effort, including risking being impeached and thrown out of office to decide to eliminate one of his potential opponents in a primary — I mean, that are running in a primary for the general election?” he said.

“This guy is obsessed with me, and he should be, with good reason. Because I will beat him.” But according to polls, Biden is now viewed as risky, whereas he was once considered as the best option to beat Trump.

The latest poll suggests Democratic voters have less faith in Biden’s ability to beat Trump than at any time before.

For the past six months, Insider has been conducting a series of SurveyMonkey Audience polls to gauge Americans’ opinions on 2020 Democratic primary.

But even if Biden were to win the election, Republicans could immediately push to impeach him over his work in Ukraine as vice president.

Iowa Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) warned:“I think this door of impeachable whatever has been opened,” Ernst told Bloomberg News.“Joe Biden should be very careful what he’s asking for because, you know, we can have a situation where if it should ever be President Biden, that immediately, people, right the day after he would be elected would be saying, ‘Well, we’re going to impeach him.’”

Questions over Biden’s role in overseeing Obama administration policy concerning Ukraine, while his son, Hunter Biden, was serving on the board of directors of a notoriously-corrupt Ukrainian natural gas conglomerate has become increasingly under the spotlight.
